A message from our founder

It’s our birthday and we can’t believe it’s been thirteen magical years! After a whirlwind year and our customers all over the globe adapting to the changes in the way we live and work, we are so pleased to be celebrating the brand’s thirteenth anniversary, making it one remember. Looking back at the achievements, growth and new product launches over the last year, there is most definitely plenty to be celebrated, and we want to thank our loyal customers for supporting us every step of the way.

Growing from a one-person company to a team of fifty, it’s hard to believe the company’s expansion over the last thirteen years. From the kitchen table in Fulham thirteen years ago to now, Merci Maman still holds the exact same brand values and product offering it has from the very beginning. Celebrating motherhood, connections with loved ones and capturing those special moments in a keepsake piece of jewellery. Celebrating the magic of the unbreakable bond between mother and child, the affections between loved ones and life’s special milestones with a hand-engraved message.

We’ve cherished every milestone over the last thirteen years and have been lucky enough to share so many magical moments in life with our customers. As we’re feeling nostalgic, we’ve taken a look back at some of our best-selling collections from over the years.

Our best-sellers…

Kate Middleton has inspired women all over the world by wearing her hand-engraved Merci Maman piece and we now count over 10,000 mums cherishing their own Duchess Necklace.

The Signature Disc Necklace is the perfect piece to engrave a loved one’s name and keep it always close to heart. It seems like our customers agree, as we’ve hand-engraved over 8000 of them…

The Intertwined Necklace is inspired by the love between mother and child, two interlinking circles representing special bonds shared with the people we love.

The Hammered Collection is a constant favourite with our customers, with the best-selling collection launching three years ago to celebrate our tenth anniversary!

The Initial Collection features our customers hand-engraved keepsakes with the letter of their choice across necklaces, bracelets and rings – with over 13,000 keepsakes wrapped up in a little orange box to date.

Launched in 2016, the Gemstone Collection is favourite with our customers, and available across a range of necklaces and bracelets to be hand-engraved with cherished messages.

One of our favourites from over the years is the Liberty Collection, fusing the Merci Maman hand-engraved love and the classic Liberty prints, with over six different prints to make your special keepsake that extra bit special.

Only launched this year but already a favourite with our customers is the Birth Flower collection – each flower illustration hand-drawn by Philippine from our Merci Maman team in Paris.

This time last year…

You may remember the Origin campaign from our anniversary celebrations last year, where three of the Merci Maman family were all expecting little ones and modelled our Origin Collection for the launch. A year on already, and we can’t believe how much their three daughters have grown!

MELANIE

Melanie has been part of the Merci Maman family for over ten years and was the first member to join the team from the very beginning. Melanie welcomed her little girl Amélie to the Merci Maman family earlier this year in January.  

INES  

Adding another little girl to the Merci Maman brood, Ines welcomed Gabriela to the family last year, and has just joined us back in the team following her maternity leave as Country Manager for our Spanish and Italian markets.

HOLLY

Bringing little Oseivie into the world last year, our Graphic Designer Holly welcomed the third little girl of the last year in the Merci Maman family!
