Easter: A Fun-Filled Easter Activity for the Family to Enjoy

 

Easter is about more than just chocolate and bunnies. It’s also a wonderful time of year to celebrate new beginnings and the first blooms of spring.

 

As the long weekend approaches, you might be stuck wondering how to keep the kids entertained or fill a few extra hours with a creative challenge for yourself. Whether you’re keeping a little one occupied with some easter adventures, or simply enjoying the first glimpse of sunnier days, we’ve got a lovely activity ready to help you get into the spring spirit.

 

An ‘egg-cellent’ easter activity: design your own Merci Maman-inspired eggs

 

We love getting creative and creating different designs to help to inspire our own jewelry designs, but this easter we wanted to share some of this creativity with you! As a fun easter activity for all the family to enjoy, we’ve designed a template for you and your little ones to design your own easter eggs.

 

How to get started: Firstly, you’ll need access to a printer to print out the following template with enough copies for all those taking part.

Next, using the egg-shaped templates, draw in your own designs to fill the inside of each egg template. This could be a pattern, a drawing of your favorite flower, or even some writing to tell a family member just how special they are.

 

Feel free to be as creative as you’d like with the design, using our examples as inspiration for your own imagination! We’d recommend drawing in pencil first, so you can erase anything you’re not happy with.

 

Once you’re pleased with your designs, why not make them stand out by coloring them in or by painting them?

 

After this…voila! You’ve successfully designed your own easter-themed eggs to frame and admire.

Easter is a perfect time to simply be together. Why not take a walk with your loved ones in the fresh air and appreciate the beginnings of spring. Spot and count the changes you can see in nature. This could be the changing of leaves on trees, some blossom or daffodils appearing, or the smell of freshly cut grass.
