Spotted on Carla Bruni-Sarkozy!

Carla Bruni Sarkozy, Franco-Italian singer, songwriter and model, posted pictures of her wearing our iconic Intertwined necklace on her Instagram account in July 2016. Pictures were taken at a concert, in Sardegna, where she performed “In my secret life” alongside the German Jazz musician Till Brönner.

The founders of Merci Maman, Béatrice and Arnaud de Montille, met with former French President Nicolas Sarkozy — late June at a meeting with French London based entrepreneurs — and gave him the Merci Maman necklace as a gift to his wife.

This £89 necklace has been hand-engraved with care and precision in our Merci Maman workshop. It is composed of two intertwined circles made of 18 carat gold plated: the large circle is engraved with the names of Carla’s children ‘Aurélien & Giulia’ and the small circle with three kisses ‘xxx’, representing the unbreakable love between them.
